Registration Terms and Indemnification Agreement

Before registering for QWEBEC Expo, you must read the following Registration Terms and Indemnification Agreement carefully and agree to the terms presented. This electronic form will serve as the accident waiver, liability indemnification and model release agreement for QWEBEC Expo 2017.

The attendee understands that participation at QWEBEC Expo 2017, to be held on Aug 3-6 2017, in Montreal by Michael Plant (organizer), and the 2017 event sponsors, is conditioned upon execution of this Registration Terms and Indemnification Agreement. Scroll here for more

  1. QWEBEC Expo won't send or mail the Badges. You will be able to pick your badge at event's Registration desk.
  2. Badges/Registration Fees are non-transferable and non-exchangeable
  3. Your badge is Precious. It will not be replaced. If lost or stolen, a $220 USD reprint fees will be charged
  4. No Credit Cards or Personal Checks will be accepted at Door Registration.
      - But we do accept Canada Post Money Order, or Established Company's Check upon pre-approval by us.

  5. All Attendees must be at least 18 years old at dates of event. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  6. Valid official photo ID will be required on-site to pick up your badge. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  7. Acceptable forms of ID are Passport, State ID or Driver's License only.
  8. All Attendees must pick up their own badges onsite.

  9. Only registered attendees are allowed in premises for the duration of the event.
  10. All event hours & elements are subject to change.

  11. Video recording of seminars and workshops is not allowed without express permission from QWEBEC Expo.

  12. Badge exchange/lending between individuals is strictly prohibited!
      - Violations will result in expulsion for the duration and possibly future events as well. Please Play Fair!

  13. Badges may not be resold or offered for resale by anyone. Be it for a premium or for any other transaction.
      - Resale or attempted resale of any badge will be grounds for cancellation of the badge without a refund or any compensation.
  14. The undersigned represents that, at the time of beginning of the event, August 3rd 2017, he/she is 18 years of age or older.

  15. The undersigned authorizes QWEBEC Expo, and event sponsors to copyright and publish any and all photographs, videotapes and/or film in which he/she appears while attending this event. He/she further agrees that QWEBEC Expo and event sponsors may transfer, use or caused to be used, these photos, video tapes, or films for any exhibitions, public displays, publications, commercials, art and advertising purposes, and television programs without limitations or reservations.

  16. The undersigned agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless QWEBEC Expo, 2017 event sponsors and the Event's Venue Hotel, and each of their respective members, officers, directors and agents from any claims, actions and expenses of whatever nature, including reasonable attorney's fees arising from the undersigned's negligence and/or consumption of alcohol and/or willful or wrongful acts at QWEBEC Expo, and not engage in any conduct proscribed by the Alcoholic beverage code, and from all of the undersigned's conduct taking place throughout the event.

  17. The undersigned assumes all risk of injury at QWEBEC Expo, and completely waives, to the greatest extent permitted by law, any and all events and claims he/she hereafter may have against the QWEBEC Expo, QWEBEC Expo, event sponsors, and Event's Venue Hotel, as well as each of their respective members, officers, directors and agents, which claims relate in any way to, or which arise , directly or indirectly in whole or in part, from the operation of QWEBEC Expo 2017, including claims that may arise out of the negligence or gross negligence of such persons and entities.

  18. In the event any legal action which concerns this Agreement, the court shall construe this Agreement to provide the maximum protection to the QWEBEC Expo, event sponsors, and the Event's Venue Hotel, and each of their respective members, officers, directors and agents. In any such action, the undersigned shall be solely responsible for all court costs and reasonable attorney's fees. If any provision in this Agreement is deemed to be unenforceable, the court shall strike only that portion that makes such provision unenforceable, and the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

  19. We take no responsibility for the information contained within our website in terms of timeliness, accuracy, correctness or completeness, and accept no liability for damages that may arise from the use of our website.

  20. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the show for any reason, QWEBEC Expo's liability is strictly limited to the refund of your purchased badge or Sponsorship.

  21. We have no influence whatsoever over the content of websites which can be reached via links within our website. We expressly disassociate ourselves from any content and set-up arising from linked websites including all subsequent links/web pages and accept absolutely no liability for them. The content of third-party websites is not part of our service.

  22. QWEBEC Expo, OR Event's Venue Hotel, at any time and for any reason whatsoever, may revoke the undersigned's access to QWEBEC Expo 2017, and in such an event, the undersigned agrees to peacefully leave the event.

  23. We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone (Drunk, Intoxicated, Gangs colors, etc...) without refund.

  24. Payment must be made no later than Friday July 28th 2017.

  25. The undersigned realizes that deadline for cancellation is Friday June 30th, 2017. NO credits or charge backs will be made or accepted after that date. 25% Cancellation fees.
